Our mission is to develop bold disciples
of Christ who are equipped and motivated in fulfilling the Great
Commission by wisdom from God's Word, power from the Holy Spirit,
and an intimate relationship with God.
The Heritage Baptist Church Student Ministry meets on Sundays and
Wednesdays. Sunday mornings at 9am, we offer 3 gender and grade-specific
connect groups for middle school students and 9-10th grade students
in the Student Center on campus. Our connect groups are double-staffed
with experienced, educated, and relevant adults. At 9:30 am, we
also offer Mbark; a class designed for the next phase of life for
11-12th grade students led by Student Pastor Jesse Campbell at Starbucks
on the corner of 9 Mile Road and Pine Forrest Road. Wednesday night
FUEL begins at 6:30pm for middle school students and 7pm for high
school students. Come and join us for a time of worship led by our
house band, The Wombats followed by an engaging and challenging
message from God's Word spoken through Student Pastor Jesse Campbell.
Jesse Campbell and his lovely wife Jessi' (haha! Jesse and Jessi)
reside in Cantonment, FL with their baby beagle named "Bagel."
Jesse is graduate of the Florida State University, a Master's level
student of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and the
Director of Percussion at Tate High School. He presents messages
of intellectual content and practially challenging substance straight
from the Bible in a culturally relevant way.
Heritage Baptist Church is member of the Pensacola Bay Baptist
Association whose belief system and doctrine align with The Baptist
Faith and Message. A prominent force in local missions as well as
international church planting, Heritage is a founding member of
the Meet the Church ministry: a combined outreach to the needs of
Pensacola by several local churches. The moderate size of the Heritage
Baptist Student Ministry lends itself to an atmosphere of cloesness
amongst the students, their Youth Pastor, and their amazing adult
leaders. Come be a part of our family.
